Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana has continued to encourage his Cameroon teammates on social media despite his withdrawal from the squad at the World Cup in Qatar.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 26-year-old is continuing to provide encouragement on social media despite the disappointment of no longer being in the squad.

Onana will play no further role at the World Cup in Qatar after departing from the Cameroonian national team’s squad due to a disagreement about tactics with coach Rigobert Song.

However, despite whatever tensions there are behind the scenes between Onana and his coach, the Inter keeper is still rooting for his teammates at the tournament.

The Indomitable Lions grabbed a vital draw in their clash with Serbia today, coming back from 3-1 down to finish 3-3 in a dramatic match.

Inter keeper Onana encouraged the team in a post on his Instagram story before the match.
