Inter would be ready to offer defender Milan Skriniar a contract extension worth around €7 million net per season including add-ons.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediasert, who reported this afternoon via FCInterNews that the Nerazzurri are prepared to offer Skriniar a similar deal to those which Lautaro Martinez and Marcelo Brozovic are on, and that they are optimistic that they can get negotiations wrapped up soon.

Skriniar would like a new contract that would put him in line with the club’s other top earners if he is to extend his deal past its current expiration date at the end of June 2023.

Martinez and Brozovic both earn around €7 million net per season when all add-ons are taken into account.

Inter would be prepared to offer essentially the same deal to Skriniar.

The Slovakian will not be offered a deal equal to what Romelu Lukaku earns on loan from Chelsea, but being brought in line with Martinez and Brozovic.

The Nerazzurri are optimistic that their next offer to Skriniar and his representatives could be the one to convince him to agree a new deal.
