Juventus are serious about trying to bring back Beppe Marotta from Inter, but have yet to make contact with the Nerazzurri CEO.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Inter CEO is the Bianconeri’s dream target at the helm of a new board of directors, but that they have yet to contact him formally.

Marotta has been one of the names most strongly linked with a role in the new board of directors to be chosen by Juventus next month.

Given the executive’s long association with the Bianconeri, they could see him as a safe pair of hands following the resignation of the previous board en masse.

The Bianconeri are indeed dreaming of a return of Marotta, but have yet to make contact according to the Corriere.

Meanwhile, legendary former forward Alessandro Del Piero is also linked with a role in the new Juventus board of directors.

For the role of Sporting Director, all of Atletico Madrid’s Andrea Berta, Napoli’s Cristiano Giuntoli, AC Milan’s Frederic Massara, and Lazio’s Igli Tare are linked, whilst the Bianconeri could also promote from within in the form of Giovanni Manna.
