Inter aren’t giving up in their pursuit of Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will make a new push to sign the 25-year-old and that updates are expected early in January.
Inter have already met with Thuram’s representatives on a few occasions.
The Nerazzurri have been trying to work fast to sign the Frenchman, as they have formidable competition for his signature, particularly from Bayern Munich.
Inter still believe that they can convince the Frenchman, particularly on the basis that he would be made a central part of their project in attack if they were to sign.
Accordingly, the Nerazzurri will make further efforts to convince Thuram soon.
A move for the 25-year-old could come as early as January, as Inter would consider signing him for a fee to beat the competition, something which Gladbach would be amenable to.
