Torino are working to try and sign Inter-linked Valencia wingback Jesus Vazquez on loan for the rest of the season, with an option to sign him on a permanent basis.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 19-year-old has emerged as a target for the Granata, and that Valencia value him at around €4-5 million.

Vazquez has found playing time hard to come by at Valencia this season.

The youngster is behind the likes of captain Jose Gaya and also Toni Lato on the left flank.

Accordingly, he could be allowed to leave on loan.

The Spaniard had been one of the names most strongly linked with Inter as a possible replacement for Robin Gosens should the German leave during the January window.

The Nerazzurri had reportedly been keen to loan him if Gosens were to depart.

However, now it is Torino who are especially pushing to sign Vazquez.
