Argentina are world champions after defeating France in the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Sunday.
After a rocky start to their campaign at the tournament, losing their group stage opener against Saudi Arabia, the Albiceleste defeated the likes of Mexico, Poland, Australia, the Netherlands, Croatia, and finally Les Bleus to lay claim to international football’s biggest prize.
Inter striker Lautaro Martinez helped the Albiceleste to the trophy, and posted a picture from the team’s celebration parade on his Instagram account.
