Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is looking to immediately regain his place in Inter’s starting eleven now that he’s back in Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 25-year-old is aiming to get right back into the team for next week’s Serie A clash with league leaders Napoli.
Martinez has been one of the players whose availability for next Wednesday’s match against the Partenopei has been considered to be in doubt.
This is because of the fact that the Argentine went all the way with his national team at the World Cup, whilst he has also been enjoying the post-tournament celebrations.
However, the 25-year-old is back in Milan now.
Martinez feels that, despite the truncated preparation period for the match against Napoli, and the fact that he has spent the past week or so celebrating, will not mean that he won’t be fit to start against the Partenopei.
