Intermediaries have proposed a possible swap deal between Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie and Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to Spanish media.
This according to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero on the Twitch channel of Spanish Fichajes, via FCInter1908, who report that the Blaugranas would be keen on such a deal, but that it is not probable.
Kessie’s future at Barcelona looks to be uncertain given that the 25-year-old former AC Milan midfielder has found playing time hard to come by under coach Xavi.
The Ivorian has been linked with a possible return to Serie A, with the Nerazzurri one of the main clubs linked in the past several weeks.
According to Romero on Fichajes, a possible swap deal involving Kessie and Brozovic has been proposed by intermediaries.
However, he goes on to suggest that at the moment Kessie’s priority would be to fight for his spot at Barcelona and so a deal is not likely, whilst the Nerazzurri would have no interest.
