Only a few more details are remaining to be wrapped up in contract talks between Inter and midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the main thing yet to be worked out is the add-ons in the deal, and that a full agreement could be found next month after the Champions League match against Porto.
Inter have made significant headway in contract extension talks with Calhanoglu and his representatives.
The agreement on a new deal has been drafted up to a significant degree, with the club and player ready to sign a new deal worth around €5.5 million net per season.
However, some further negotiations are needed to wrap up all of the add-ons in the deal.
According to the Gazzetta, it is unlikely that the former AC Milan midfielder will put pen to paper before the end of February.
However, there is a good chance that confirmation of a new deal can be expected shortly after the Champions League round of sixteen second leg against Porto in March.
