Inter are holding out for at least €50 million for wingback Denzel Dumfries, as they seek to cash in on him at the end of the season.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri have identified Dumfries as an opportunity to bring in much needed funds, particularly as he garners interest from Premier League clubs following his positive World Cup campaign with the Netherlands.

Inter are unwilling to offer any discounts for the 26-year-old and will not consider offers below €50m, whilst they will not accept any players in exchange to bring down the asking price.

The Nerazzurri would prefer to secure cash in order to reduce the financial pressures on the club, as well as give them the freedom to target their own preferred options.

This includes Bayern Munich wingback Noussair Mazraoui, with the Morocco international considered a more affordable option that would ensure Inter retain some of the fee brought in from the sale of Dumfries.
