Inter are confident that wingback Robin Gosens will be fit and available in time for the team’s Serie A clash with Udinese over the weekend.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that based on the team’s most recent training session, the sense is that there is a very good chance that the German will already be fully recovered from his thigh problem by Saturday.

Gosens started in Inter’s Serie A clash with Sampdoria yesterday evening, but the 28-year-old was substituted off at halftime, with Federico Dimarco taking his place on the left flank for the second half of the match.

Reports after the match suggested that the issue for the former Atalanta wingback had been a strain to the right thigh.

According to FCInterNews, the injury does not look to be overly serious, and based on the player’s condition in today’s training session, the club are confident that Gosens can be part of the squad to face Udinese.
