Porto are hoping to recover all of winger Galeno, forward Evanilson, and midfielder Mateus Uribe in time to face Inter in the Champions League on Wednesday.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that on the other hand, defender Fabio Cardoso and Otavio are nor likely to return from injury in time for the round of sixteen first leg match against the Nerazzurri.
Porto are dealing with something of an injury crisis as they head into Wednesday evening’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg against Inter.
In the cases of Galeno, Evanilson, and Uribe, the sense is that it will be a close call as to whether they are able to return in time to play a part against the Nerazzurri, but there is hope in all three cases.
Meanwhile, defender Cardoso is dealing with a muscular injury in his left calf which should rule him out, whilst midfielder Otavio has only just returned from receiving treatment in Brazil and is also likely to miss the first leg.
