Inter striker Romelu Lukaku and midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu are set to start for the Nerazzurri in this evening’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg match against Porto.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the pair are ahead of Edin Dzeko and Marcelo Brozovic to play from the first minute against the Portuguese champions.
Lukaku is back from injury, and based on his performances in recent matches including a start against Udinese, as well as recent training sessions, the Belgian is favoured ahead of Dzeko to start this evening.
Meanwhile, Brozovic is also back, but Calhanoglu is still tipped to start in the regista role as he has been doing in the majority of the Nerazzurri’s recent matches.
The Corriere’s complete predicted starting eleven for this evening’s match is as follows:
Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Lukaku, Lautaro.
