Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana and striker Edin Dzeko immediately made up after yesterday’s match against Porto, in which both were involved in a heated exchange of words on the pitch during the first half.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the pair spoke with each other and reconciled after the full-time whistle.
Dzeko did not hide his frustrations with Onana when he felt that the goalkeeper failed to spot him with a pass during the first half of yesterday’s match.
The goalkeeper responded by defending himself, and the pair briefly argued on the pitch.
However, the incident was a brief one, and did not appear to carry over into any hard feelings lingering after the end of the Champions League round of sixteen match.
According to FCInterNews, confirmation arrived that the pair spoke briefly to patch things up and embraced after the match, something which could also be seen on the cameras in the stadium.
