Over four thousand away fans of Lecce are expected to be at the San Siro for their team’s Serie A match against Inter over the weekend.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that a Lombard court has overturned the ban on the fans travelling for the match, and that 4,361 ticket holders should be allowed to travel and attend the match.

Lecce fans had been subject to a ban on travelling to attend Sunday evening’s match against Inter, on the basis of a ban issued following some scenes in the stands during the team’s Serie A win over Atalanta.

The Puglian club appealed the ban, however, with a court in the Lombardia region tasked with deciding on whether or not to uphold the ban.

According to the Gazzetta, the court has decisively ruled that the ban will be overturned, and so the Lecce fans will be allowed into a sold-out away section at the San Siro on Sunday.
