Inter and Juventus meet for only the second time this season in this evening’s Serie A match at the San Siro, but by the end of next month they could be sick of the sight of one another.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who highlight the running battle that will emerged between the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri amid their respective packed schedules in April.

Inter and Juventus will be playing their final match before the international break this evening, signing off with a Derby d’Italia clash that is always one of the showpiece occasions of Italian football.

Upon returning from the break, however, it won’t be long before the pair resume hostilities.

The Nerazzurri’s second match back from the break will be the first leg of their semifinal tie against Juventus in the Coppa Italia.

Afterwards, the two teams will have their league commitments to attend to, while each of the pair have a European tie against a Lisbon-based team in the meantime, Inter against Benfica in the Champions League and Juventus against Sporting CP in the Europa League.

At the end of next month, Simone Inzaghi and Max Allegri will go head-to-head for the third time in a short space, as they meet in the decisive second leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal tie.
