Inter’s Serie A matches against Salernitana away and against Monza at the San Siro have both been moved forward by one day in order to accommodate the team’s Champions League quarterfinal tie against Benfica.

This is confirmed by the release of all of the fixture dates for the matches in Serie A up to matchday 32, as reported by FCInterNews, which also has the Nerazzurri’s matches against Empoli and Lazio during April scheduled as lunchtime kickoffs.

Given that Inter will face Benfica twice in the space of a week in the Champions League, there will be a need for sufficient rest between the two legs of the Champions League tie.

Accordingly, the Lega Serie A has moved the two Serie A matches that the Nerazzurri play prior to the matches away and at home against the Portuguese league leaders to afford the team an extra day of rest.

The match against Salernitana will be played at the Arechi stadium on Friday, April 7 at 17:00 CET, whilst the match against Monza at the San Siro will be played on Saturday, April 15 at 20:45 CET.
