The agent of young star Ebenezer Akinsanmiro expects that the player will definitely stay at Inter Milan for a while.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, the 18-year-old’s agent Crescenzo Cecere made clear that the player would like to stay at the Nerazzurri and make a name for himself there.
Young attacking midfielder Akinsanmiro joined Inter in February, from Remo Stars FC.
The Nigerian is a highly-regarded young talent. In fact, the Nerazzurri had to beat the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid, and Benfica to his signature.
So far in his time at Inter, Akinsanmiro has been showing why he’s a highly-rated young prospect.
The Nigerian has been shining with the Primavera team. Opportunities in the first team have been limited for the 18-year-old, although this is hardly surprising given his age and the fact that he is still fairly new to European football and is finding his feet at Inter.
Chances at the senior level may not be too far away for Akinsanmiro, however.
The Nigerian could well be given chances in Inter’s senior side. Alternatively, a loan move away to gain senior experience may be on the horizon within the next few seasons.
In any event, the player’s agent feels, he has little desire to depart from the San Siro at the moment.
Agent: No Reason Ebenezer Akinsanmiro Would Leave Inter Milan
Akinsanmiro’s agent Cecere said that “There are plenty of offers. Many teams are interested in him.”
“But he made a choice to join the Inter project, he believes in it in his core.”
“He’ll almost certainly stay here,” Cecere said of Akinsanmiro. “Including making himself available to the Primavera team when they need him.”
“When he was at San Siro for the first time he told me: ‘My dream is that this will become my stadium one day,'” Cecere said.
“I hope this dream comes true.”
“Among the current great players, he likes to cite Mkhitaryan and Barella as players he takes cues from,” the agent said of Akinsanmiro. “But he’s bonded with a lot players.”
“That’s also clear to see from his celebrations.”
“He’s integrated very well into the first team immediately,” Cecere said of Akinsanmiro.
