Inter Milan target Folarin Balogun feels that he’s prepared for the upcoming season, and wants to make sure he has chances to play.

Speaking to AFTV, via FCInterNews, the 22-year-old US international made clear that his priority for the upcoming campaign is having the opportunity to get on the pitch and continue to grow.

Balogun looks to be one of Inter’s top targets in attack.

The American is still only 22 years old, and only has a couple of seasons of senior football under his belt.

However, Balogun demonstrated with his loan spell at Reims last campaign just how much quality he already has. Moreover, given the striker’s age, there is every chance that he could show even further improvements in the coming seasons.

For the player’s part, Balogun feels that the most important thing will be getting on the pitch and playing.

Whether this means staying at Arsenal, joining Inter, or moving to a different club, Balogun wants to keep the momentum up.

Last season, Balogun found the perfect environment for his growth at Reims in Ligue 1.

Now, the big question could be whether or not the US international can ensure playing time at whichever club he plays for next season.

Whether or not Inter could offer the 22-year-old a prominent role may well prove to be an important part of his decision.

As for whether he expects to stay at Arsenal, Balogun said “I want to have chances to play. We’ll see what happens.”

Last season, Balogun scored 22 goals for Reims across all competitions.
