Inter Milan-owned goalkeeper Andrei Radu will end his loan move at Bournemouth and join Al-Shabab on a six-month loan.

This according to Romanian football journalist Emanuel Rosu, who confirms that the 26-year-old will head to the Saudi Pro League before the end of the January transfer window on his Twitter account.

Inter-owned goalkeeper Radu has been at Bournemouth for the first half of the current season.

The Cherries signed the Romanian on a season-long loan last summer.

That loan deal contained a purchase option for Bournemouth to bring Radu to the English south coast on a permanent basis.

However, there will be no chance of Radu’s stay in Bournemouth becoming a permanent one.

On the contrary, the player will part ways with the Premier League clubs earlier than expected.

The reason for this is a lack of playing time.

Radu had joined Bournemouth in order to receive more consistent playing time. He has been competing with Neto and Mark Travers for a starting spot.

However, the Inter-owned keeper has not really been able to nail down a place for himself.

It has been veteran former Fiorentina, Juventus, Valencia, and Barcelona keeper Neto who has instead been first-choice.

Radu has made just two appearances for the Cherries in the Premier League.

Rosu reports that now everything is done for Radu to leave Bournemouth.

The 26-year-old’s loan deal with the English club will be terminated six months early.

And there is already a destination for Radu confirmed for the remainder of the season.

The Romanian keeper will make the move to Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia on a six-month loan deal, Rosu confirms.

Last season, Radu had also spent the season on loan at two different clubs.

The Romanian had begun the campaign at Cremonese. However, he lost out to Marco Carnesecchi in the fight for playing time.

Over the second half of the campaign Radu had played at Ligue 1 club Auxerre.

There, Radu had become a first-choice starter.
