Inter Milan loanee Filip Stankovic has convinced relegation-threatened Serie A side Venezia to pursue his permanent deal.

According to FCInter1908, Inter’s loan agreement with the Venice outfit features an obligatory clause when specific conditions are met.

Filip Stankovic joined Eusebio Di Francesco’s team on loan in the summer to gain experience and regular first-team action.

However, he started the season as a backup goalkeeper for Jesse Joronen.

Since making his Venezia debut against Atalanta in mid-October, he has nailed down a starting berth as his own.

Therefore, the Lagunari are eager to secure his services permanently.

Conditions For Venezia to Sign Inter Milan Starlet Filip Stankovic

Venezia would have to splash out only €2 million to sign the 22-year-old.

Meanwhile, Inter have reserved 50% on future resale.

Speculation over Stankovic’s permanent switch to Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo gained momentum over the weekend.

Indeed, the Serbian shot-stopper stole the spotlight in Venezia’s heartbreaking 1-0 defeat at Napoli.

He made a superb save to deny Romelu Lukaku’s effort from the spot late in the first half.

Furthermore, he accumulated eight saves throughout the game, frustrating Antonio Conte all afternoon.

Giacomo Raspadori would eventually inspire Napoli to a slender victory.

But that didn’t change the overall impression – Stankovic was outstanding.
