Inter Milan are hellbent on luring Sweden international Isak Hien away from Atalanta in the summer transfer window.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri could offer La Dea two up-and-coming youngsters to sweeten the deal.

Hien has emerged as the top candidate to replace Francesco Acerbi at Giuseppe Meazza.

Despite extending the 36-year-old’s contract earlier this season, Simone Inzaghi prepares for life after the Italian veteran.

Indeed, Beppe Marotta is scouring the market for reinforcements.

Udinese star Jaka Bijol has long been on Inter’s radar. However, Hien has recently leapfrogged the Slovenian in the list.

With Atalanta asking for around €30 million to sell Hien, Inter have devised a plan to drive the price down.

Valentin Carboni or Francesco Pio Esposito could fall victim to the Giuseppe Meazza outfit’s pursuit of the 25-year-old.

Indeed, Marotta is willing to offer them as a makeweight in a deal to take the Swedish center-back to San Siro.

However, the Inter president knows better than to put all his eggs in one basket.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri haven’t lost interest in Bijol and are also monitoring Lazio defender Mario Gila.
