Joaquin Correa is the favourite to start in attack for Inter Milan in this weekend’s Serie A clash with Roma.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They also report that Carlos Augusto and Davide Frattesi will start in place of Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitayran.
Inter Milan take on Roma in Serie A on Sunday evening.
The league outing has been postponed on Saturday, due to the funeral of Pope Francis.
Joaquin Correa To Start For Inter Milan In Serie A Clash Vs Roma
One of the big selection problems for Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi concerns the attack.
The Nerazzurri are without Marcus Thuram due to injury. The Frenchman is still recovering from some muscular fatigue that he picked up during Inter’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich last week.
Meanwhile, Marko Arnautovic is also reportedly not at his best physically.
And then, the likes of Joaquin Correa and Mehdi Taremi have hardly been convincing in recent matches.
Therefore, Sky reports, it will be Correa who gets the nod against Roma.
Meanwhile, Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be out against Roma due to suspension.
Carlos Augusto will start on the left of the back three in place of Bastoni. And Davide Frattesi will complete the midfield trio in the absence of Mkhitaryan.
