Inter Milan want a defender who can play in a central or wide role in their back three, with Sam Beukema and Oumar Solet major targets.
This according to today;s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
One thing that looks abundantly clear is that Inter Milan will sign a defender this summer.
The Nerazzurri’s backline is not getting any younger. Therefore, there is a need to add some new bloon in at the back.
However, reports the Corriere, Inter are ready to keep hold of both Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi. That in spite of the fact that the two veterans turn 34 and 38 next season.

Inter Milan are ready to continue to rely on de Vrij and Acerbi as central defenders. The two experienced players have the physicality and nous to play in the centre of the back three.
Therefore, the Corriere report that Inter don’t necessarily just want a player who can play in the centre.
The Nerazzurri also want a defender who has the pace to play in the wider roles in the back three.
According to the Corriere, Bologna’s Sam Beukema is a major target in this respect. As is Udinese defender Oumar Solet.
