Lautaro Martinez and Davide Frattesi have made returns to training ahead of Friday’s clash between Como and Inter Milan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan immediately returned to training today after yesterday evening’s disappointing Serie A draw with Lazio.

The Nerazzurri squad largely completed a recovery and cooldown session after yesterday’s match.

However, of particular note were the returns of a couple players to individual training.

Inter were missing two players in yesterday’s match against Lazio due to injury.

Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez has been recovering from an elongation in his thigh flexor muscles since Inter’s Champions League second leg win over Barcelona.

Martinez had rushed back for that match, starting, scoring Inter’s opener, and winning a penalty. However, the effort did cause an aggravation of his muscle problem.

Therefore, Martinez missed both last weekend’s Serie A clash with Torino, and yesterday’s match against Lazio.

Meanwhile, midfielder Davide Frattesi suffered an abdominal problem during the Barcelona second leg.

Therefore, Frattesi has also missed Inter’s last couple Serie A matches.

However, both Martinez and Frattesi made returns to individual training today.

Sky report that neither of the duo worked with the rest of the squad. However, they trained on the pitch.

Therefore, it seems clear that both Martinez and Frattesi are close to recovering.

There is every chance that the pair will be available for Inter’s last Serie A match of the season, against Como on Friday.
