Inter Milan have sold striker Sebastiano Esposito to Cagliari on a loan that becomes an oblogation to buy under certain conditions.
Cagliari have confirmed the 23-year-old’s arrival. He signed on a five-year deal until the end of June 2030
Striker Sebastiano Esposito has been part of Inter Milan’s youth team setup for over a decade.
During that time, Esposito has played for the Nerazzurri at various youth team levels. He also had a peripheral role for the first team during the 2019-20 season.

Following that, Esposito has gone out on a series of loan spells.
The Italy Under-21 international has played for the likes of SPAL, Venezia, Basel, Anderlecht, Bari, Sampdoria, and most recently Empoli on loan from Inter.

Now, however, the time has come for Inter to sell Sebastiano Esposito once and for all.
A few clubs showed an interest in the 23-year-old’s signature this summer.
Fiorentina have been chasing Esposito. Meanwhile, in the last few days, a bidding war for the striker has emerged between the likes of Cagliari and Parma.
In the end, it is Cagliari who have secured a deal for Esposito. They have been chasing the young striker for the past several weeks.
Cagliari confirm that Esposito has signed a five-year deal until the end of June 2030.
The Rossoblu do not announce the fee. However, reports indicate that they have paid Inter a fee of around €4.5 million for Esposito.
Furthermore, the Nerazzurri will reportedly also receive a significant sell-on fee for Esposito.
