Inter Milan star Marcus Thuram reportedly sustained a thigh injury in Tuesday’s 3-0 home victory over Slavia Prague in the Champions League.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Frenchman will be unavailable for selection this weekend.
Despite his post-match attempt to play down the injury scare, Marcus Thuram won’t be in contention for the squad on Saturday.
Furthermore, the 28-year-old will miss France’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers over the next two weeks.

Thuram had to come off midway through the second half after feeling discomfort in his left tie.
Although he tried to settle Cristian Chivu’s nerves after the match, the star center-forward faces a considerable spell on the sidelines.
Indeed, he will skip Saturday’s home clash against Cremonese, as well as the upcoming international break.
Furthermore, he will remain at Appiano Gentile to work on his recovery.
Meanwhile, Ange-Yoan Bonny may take his place against La Cremo, with Chivu hoping to have him back for a match against Roma in mid-October.
