Inter Milan flop Tomas Palacios could reportedly leave San Siro in the January transfer window amid growing interest from South America.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 22-year-old’s winter exit seems like a virtual certainty.
The San Siro giants were desperate to offload the former Independiente Rivadavia defender in the summer.
Furthermore, they even found an agreement with Santos over the player’s loan move to Brazil.
However, Tomas Palacios refused to join the Vila Belmiro outfit, hoping to stay in Europe.
Tomas Palacios to Leave Inter Milan in January
Yet to feature for Inter this season, Palacios has fallen out of favor with the new manager, Cristian Chivu.
Moreover, the Argentine youngster has only made three cameo appearances for the club over the past 18 months.
Therefore, it’s barely surprising that the 20-time Italian champions are eager to part ways with him.
Meanwhile, Palacios’ exit would make room for at least one defensive signing this winter.
In addition, Inter may also try to reinforce the right wing after Luis Henrique failed to live up to expectations.
