Inter Milan have reportedly established contact with the representatives of Hellas Verona starlet Giovane.
According to Alfredo Pedulla via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri have informed Giovane’s entourage of their interest.
Per the report, Inter made contact in the aftermath of a late 2-1 victory at the Bentegodi earlier in November.
Indeed, Giovane caught Cristian Chivu’s eye during the game, scoring a consolation goal for the Gialloblu.
However, several other Serie A clubs are ready to rival Inter for the 21-year-old’s signature.
Inter Milan in Talks with Giovane Agent
Verona signed Giovane from Corinthians in the summer and could make a substantial profit from his sale.
Indeed, the versatile forward’s valuation has skyrocketed, with Verona expected to earn at least €20 million from his exit.
Meanwhile, Inter have informed the player’s agent of their genuine interest amid stiff competition from fierce Serie A rivals.
In addition to the Nerazzurri, Atalanta, AC Milan, and Roma have set their sights on Giovane.
Still, any potential move is unlikely to materialize before next summer, as Chivu already has four strikers at his disposal.
