Inter Milan are reportedly set to compete with Serie A rivals AC Milan in the upcoming summer transfer window for key goalkeeper targets such as Zion Suzuki and Elia Caprile.

With Milan’s plans to renew Mike Maignan’s contract reportedly on hold, the Rossoneri are exploring alternative options to secure a long-term shot-stopper.

Inter, meanwhile, face a similar situation with veteran Swiss keeper Yann Sommer.

According to Tuttosport, several of the goalkeepers under Milan’s consideration overlap with Inter’s wishlist.

The names generating attention include Elia Caprile and Zion Suzuki from Serie A, as well as Noah Atubolu from Freiburg.

Inter have also monitored the market closely in recent seasons, previously showing interest in Andriy Lunin, who continues to attract attention from clubs in both Italy and Spain.

This growing competition between the two Milanese clubs suggests that both sides are preparing early to strengthen their squads ahead of next season.

Securing a reliable goalkeeper has become a priority.

Therefore, the battle for Caprile and Suzuki may be one of the defining transfer sagas of the summer.
