Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly keen to tie Lautaro Martinez down to a new long-term contract.
According to Il Giorno via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri could offer El Toro a new deal in the next 12-18 months.
Lautaro Martinez signed his last contract extension in the summer of 2024, pledging his future to the San Siro until 2029.
Although he will be 32 when his current deal runs out, the Italian giants are eager to secure his services for the long term.
Inter Milan to Offer Lautaro Martinez New Contract Soon
Lautaro has become a key player for Inter since joining the club from Racing in 2018.
Indeed, the Argentine megstar is a fan favorite at Giuseppe Meazza.
Furthermore, Cristian Chivu has heavily relied on the talismanic striker this season, barely giving him any rest.
Meanwhile, Inter last extended Lautaro’s contract to prevent his transfer to Barcelona a year and a half ago.
Now, the Nerazzurri intend to present him with a new contract, potentially keeping him at the club until the twilight of his career.
