Inter Milan and Galatasaray have reportedly started discussions over the potential winter deal for Davide Frattesi.

According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, negotiations between the clubs are well underway.

Davide Frattesi lost his first-team status at San Siro upon Cristian Chivu’s appointment in June.

Indeed, the 45-year-old has only sporadically used the former Sassuolo midfielder this season.

For context, Frattesi has made just one Serie A start, adding three more in other competitions.

Frattesi is desperate to get his career back on track and has already informed the club of his ambition to leave.

However, Inter are reluctant to sell their out-of-favor star to direct Serie A rivals.

Therefore, they’ve ruled out the possibility of entering talks with Juventus, Napoli, and Roma.

On the other hand, a switch to Istanbul could help reignite Frattesi’s career, with the Rams Park outfit stepping up efforts to close the deal.

Meanwhile, Inter will likely return to the market to replace the 26-year-old as they already lack numbers in the engine room.
