Matteo Darmian could reportedly return to the starting lineup in tonight’s Champions League clash between Inter Milan and Bodo/Glimt.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the 36-year-old defender might get the nod on the right wing ahead of Luis Henrique.

Head coach Cristian Chivu is mulling over several lineup tweaks ahead of this ‘make or break’ European showdown.

Indeed, Inter must overturn a two-goal deficit to reach the Round of 16 following a dismal 3-1 defeat in the first leg.

Darmian registered his only competitive start of the season at the Aspmyra Stadion last week and excelled.

Moreover, the former AC Milan star came close to scoring in the first half, but the woodwork denied his thunderous half-volley.

However, Luis Henrique started ahead of Darmian in Saturday’s Serie A match at Lecce.

Still, the Brazilian winger could drop to the bench tonight.

Meanwhile, Federico Dimarco is likely to start on the left wing after Chivu left him on the bench in the Arctic Circle a week ago.
