Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly grown frustrated with Luis Henrique after yet another underwhelming performance in the Milan derby.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Brazilian winger could drop to the bench in Saturday’s clash against Atalanta.

Despite dashing out around €24 million to sign Luis Henrique last summer, Inter may soon cut ties with the ex-Botafogo man.

Indeed, the 24-year-old has failed to live up to expectations this season despite being given ample time and space to prove his worth.

Furthermore, Denzel Dumfries’ long-term absence gave the former Marseille star a chance to shine.

However, he has failed to seize the opportunity.

Inter Milan Grow Frustrated with Luis Henrique

Henrique emerged as the main culprit for Inter’s narrow 1-0 defeat in Sunday’s Serie A derby against AC Milan.

Indeed, he lost track of Pervis Estupinan, who decided the high-stakes showdown already in the first half.

Therefore, Cristian Chivu is reportedly looking to bench Henrique this weekend as Inter prepare to face Atalanta in a must-win home game.

With Dumfries back from a lengthy spell in the pits, Chivu is ready to reinstate the Dutch star on the right wing.

However, it’s worth noting that the 29-year-old made a cameo appearance against Milan, but failed to find his usual rhythm and impact on the flank.
