Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolo Barella could reportedly sever ties with Inter Milan at the end of the current campaign.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Italian duo is facing an uncertain future at San Siro.

The Nerazzurri will undergo a squad overhaul in the summer, with several long-serving stalwarts expected to leave the club.

In addition to veterans, whose contracts expire in June, the runaway Serie A leaders could make several high-profile sales.

Indeed, Alessandro Bastoni could be among the big-name departures, with a handful of European heavyweights keeping close tabs on him.

Meanwhile, La Liga giants Barcelona have earmarked the 26-year-old as an ideal defensive reinforcement.

Inter Milan Could Sell Bastoni & Barella Next Summer

Bastoni is not the only first-team superstar who could wave goodbye to San Siro in the summer.

Indeed, Nicolo Barella could also be on his way out after a disappointing season.

Despite his household status, the diminutive midfielder has often failed to live up to expectations this term.

For perspective, he has scored just once in 25 Serie A appearances.

Moreover, his Champions League performances were nowhere near his high standard.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri could be looking to cash in on the former Cagliari man at the end of the season.
