Inter Milan have recently compromised their Serie A title hopes with a string of underwhelming results.

According to Il Giorno via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are in the midst of a full-blown crisis.

Despite leading the way in Serie A since November, the 21st Scudetto is not in the bag just yet.

Indeed, Inter have gone winless in three consecutive league games for the first time since 2023, helping AC Milan and Napoli return into the title picture.

With eight games left to play, the margin for error has grown thin as Cristian Chivu aims to win the crown in his first season at San Siro.

Inter Milan Struggle to Regain Momentum Amid Severe Crisis

Inter’s drop-off has coincided with Lautaro Martinez’s injury.

Indeed, Chivu’s men have only won one of their six competitive outings without their captain.

Therefore, the international break has come at the best possible moment for the Nerazzurri.

Chivu must take advantage of the upcoming hiatus to rally his troops and engineer a comeback.

With El Toro expected to recover for Inter’s next Serie A clash against Roma, there’s plenty of reason for optimism.

However, they are no longer in a position to take anything for granted.
