Serie A giants Inter Milan have not lost interest in Al-Ittihad winger Moussa Diaby despite a failed attempt to sign him in January.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri could lodge a new bid for the Frenchman in the summer.

Inter’s last-gasp offer for Moussa Diaby in the final hours of the January transfer window failed to come to fruition.

Indeed, Al-Ittihad turned down the Italian club’s approach, as they had no intention of letting the diminutive forward leave on loan.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri had hoped to sign the 26-year-old on loan with an option to buy.

Inter Milan to Make New Offer for Al-Ittihad Star Moussa Diaby

Diaby’s situation could change in the summer.

Indeed, Al-Ittihad are reportedly keen to sign Liverpool megastar Mohamed Salah, who is close to leaving Anfield after nearly a decade.

Furthermore, Salah’s potential arrival would likely hand Inter’s hopes of landing Diaby a major boost.

Al-Ittihad may have to offload the former Aston Villa star to make room for the Egyptian veteran, with Inter reportedly ready to pounce.

Nevertheless, the Saudi Pro League giants paid €60 million for Diaby’s transfer in 2024, suggesting Inter can’t hope to sign him on favorable terms.
