Heavily linked with a summer return to Inter Milan, Club Brugge starlet Aleksandar Stankovic continues to make headlines in the Jupiler Pro League.
According to FCInterNews, the 20-year-old midfielder netted his eighth goal of the season in today’s 4-2 home win over Anderlecht.
Inter sold Aleksandar Stankovic to Club Brugge last summer for a reported fee of just under €10 million.
However, the prodigious midfielder is likely to become Inter’s first summer signing in 2026.
Indeed, the San Siro giants have already decided to trigger a buy-back clause in their agreement with the Belgian club.
Therefore, Stankovic will return to his old stomping ground, with the Nerazzurri expected to shell out €23 million to recapture his signature.
Inter Milan Bound Aleksandar Stankovic Scores in Club Brugge 4-2 Anderlecht Victory
Club Brugge put bitter rivals Anderlecht to the sword on Easter Monday, cruising to a 4-2 win at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
Meanwhile, Stankovic netted his fourth league goal of the season to make it 2-0 midway through the first half.
Curiously, it was his first top-flight goal since a match-winning brace against Zulte Waregem in late January.
Overall, the Serbian teenager has scored eight goals and provided five assists across 41 appearances in all competitions this term.
