Inter are getting closer to striking a deal with Hellas Verona for Marash Kumbulla according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper L’Arena.

Inter are leading the race to sign the highly rated Albanian national team centre back and should be able to finalise a deal with the Gialloblu for €28 million plus €7 million in add-ons.

The report from the Verona based news outlet goes on to explain that Hellas Verona do not want to receive any players as part of a deal.

Hellas Verona are interested in keeping a hold of on loan Federico Dimarco though and the report explains that the two clubs will do a separate deal for the full back. Juventus and Lazio are among several clubs that have been linked with a move for the youngster but according to this report Inter are close to signing him.

Eddie Salcedo, who is currently also out on loan at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club from Inter, will meanwhile return to Inter and it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
