After the final whistle between Hellas Verona and Inter at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi where the Nerazzurri racked up their 9th win in 11 matches in the Serie A, Inter’s Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar shared his thoughts on the win in an interview with Premium Sport.
“This is another important win that we bring home with us to Milano, right now we are exactly where we want to be and now it is important to continue like this. After their equaliser to make it 1-1, it was a tough game to play, but we managed to score another goal that decided the game.”
Skriniar was asked what his secret is after yet another impressive performance: “Like I always say, I just want to help the team out and that is my only objective. Scudetto? We look forward, one game at a time.”
In conclusion the former Sampdoria defender was asked to react to the fact that Inter’s start to this season is the best start for Inter since the three-point system was introduced: “Well, then we are happy to be a small part of Inter’s great history. Let’s continue like this.”
