Inter management have found a pre-contract agreement with Stefan de Vrij’s representatives FCInterNews.it understand.

The two parties have agreed to a five year contract which will see the Dutch defender earn €4.5 million net per season. Moreover, his representatives will receive a €4 million commission fee.

All that remains now is for Inter’s owners Suning to give their blessing to the agreement before De Vrij can put pen to paper and sign for the Nerazzurri. FCInterNews.it further report that all the documentation is currently being studied by the Chinese owners and a positive response is expected shortly.

Inter have pipped a whole host of clubs to the 26-year-old centre back’s signature, including a number of clubs from the Premier League as well as Spanish club Barcelona.

This season, de Vrij has played in no less than 35 games across all competitions for Simone Inzaghi’s side – 9 of which have ended with Lazio keeping a clean sheet.
