Matias Vecino is currently the favourite to start in the midfield two alongside Marcelo Brozovic this Saturday when Inter take on Juventus in the Derby D’Italia at the San Siro according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Uruguayan midfielder is favoured over Borja Valero despite having played around just 30 minutes in the past month or so due to injury. The 26-year-old got a short 13 minute run out in the win over 2-1 Chievo Verona at the weekend and has obviously showed enough in that short time to regain his place in Luciano Spalletti’s starting 11.

The Milan based newspaper also report that winger Antonio Candreva is expected to return to the starting lineup and replace Yann Karamoh. The Italian winger has started on the bench for the past two games after picking up a knock against Torino.

There is no doubt about the other attackers however. Ivan Perisic will be on the left, Rafinha through the middle and captain Mauro Icardi will be leading the line on his own up top.
