The start of this year’s edition of the Serie A is getting closer and closer and Inter will start the season by going to Sassuolo for a Sunday evening game.

Milano based newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport tries to foresee what the starting lineup of Inter will look like considering Inter’s pre-season: “In addition to the untouchable starting players Handanovic, Skriniar and Icardi, there are still some doubts about how an Inter starting eleven will look like, especially considering the amount of new arrivals at Appiano Gentile and the difference in physical status between the players.”

According to the report, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti will eventually choose the following players to start the game against Sassuolo: “D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Dalbert, Brozovic, Asamoah, Politano, Lautaro and Keita Baldé. Starting on the bench will be the following players: Vrsaljko, Miranda, Vecino and Perisic, all depending on which condition they are in. Outside the squad is still Radja Nainggolan, but with the hope of returning in the next game against Torino.”
