Antonio Cassano’s statement the other day in which he called the Juventus players “soldiers” remains a hot topic of discussion in Italy. In an interview with Sky Sport 24 Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini tries to defuse the situation:
“We all know Antonio well, how he expresses himself and so on. Often he gets misunderstood and in his latest stunt, he expressed himself badly, but I know what he meant and we often talk. He has a fickle character and is struggling to stay within the frames. Juventus is a team that relies on tactical systems. He would struggle and that’s why he said that thing about soldiers. It is nothing to create controversy over because Antonio is a great guy who has the respect of Juventus and its players.”
