In an interview with Globoesporte, Juan Jesus talks about the recent form of Inter:
“We are growing very well. We are coming from a bad season, but the club has changed everything, Philippe (Coutinho, ed .) can testify to that. We are doing everything to get back to winning, we must continue on this path.”
“The Selecao? I am sorry about the failure at the Olympics because we worked so hard to win. I want to stay in the national team, but to do that I have to play and do well at Inter. I want a career of 10-12 years here in Italy, I’m happy here but I would like to finish my career at Internacional. Off the field I have a great relationship with Coutinho, we often meet. But we also spend time with Robinho, our wives get along very well with each other and go to the gym together. I am a stay-at-home though, I like to play video games. “
Making a comparison between the Italian and Brazilian football, Juan explains the difference:
“In Brazil there is a lot of running, in Italy it is more tactical. All Italian teams are well set and therefore there are no easy games.” The Brazilian also believes that Italian football “has gone through the worst of the crisis and must now change gear.”
