The information that Paulinho is heading to Paris Saint-Germain is not true. In an interview, Corinthian’s sporting director, Roberto de Andrade made this assurance. “I can tell you that there is nothing. There is absolutely nothing with Paris Saint-Germain! Paulinho is in every way a Corinthians player. Inter or other clubs? Paulinho is ours, we have not spoken to any club at all lately.”
When it comes to Paris Saint-Germain, their quota for the number of players without EU passports is filled with the arrival of Lucas in January and Inter is expected to once again be in pole position to acquire the midfielder. Massimo Moratti, however, is believed to not yet have given the green light to spend at least 15 million for the player. The ownership concerning the player is evenly divided between Corinthians and Audax, whose director José Carlos Brunoro, also interviewed by Lancenet, confirms that nothing is finalized: “The negotiations are managed by the Corinthians. When they receive an offer it is also sent to Audax. But so far, they have not announced anything. There has been no contact.”
