Andrea Stramaccioni chose Marko Livaja, a player in whom the coach has great faith, for the press conference on the eve of Inter v Neftci.
The journalists present wanted to know about the future of Inter’s young hope, Livaja: will he stick around to grow with the Nerazzurri, or head to another team in order to gain more experience? “I’m an Inter player and I’m thinking only about Inter. I’ll discuss my future with the club’s directors.”
Meanwhile, Livaja is fully integrated with this group: “I feel very good here. Everyone gives me advice, the forwards most of all, obviously. But I get along well with everyone.”
Finally, the player was asked if he had expected so much playing time: “I hadn’t expected anything. I just wanted to work hard in order to give 100% once I was needed.”
