Javier Zanetti spoke after the game and wasn’t at all happy with the referees:
“Some episodes in the end influenced the game, but it’s needless to talk about it. Lazio played better than us in the first half, and then we grew in the second half which is why the fantastic goal from Close gives a bitter taste afterwards. The penalty area referees? They’re not giving the helping hand we all expected them to do, we’ll see what happens in the future.”
