On Sport Mediaset, Inter’s and Massimo Moratti’s possible strategy to handle the Handanovic deal was discussed: “The question is, on paper at least, trivial. Inter, led by Moratti, don’t have the slightest intention to let its first keeper go. Inter must, however, take into account two undeniable facts. Firstly, that the lure of Barça doesn’t leave Samir indifferent, the other is that the potential capital gain could be embarrassing and would provide a great respite to the club’s treasury. To be even more clear: if you pay, as in the case with Handanovic, 15 million for a player one year and then sell him for 30 million just twelve months later, you will do something you would be able to tell your children and grandchildren from generation to generation about.
