Luca Garritano is close to joining Palermo. The young forward owned between Cesena and Inter is liked by the rosaneri who are trying to buy the Cesena owned half. FcInternews has collected some information regarding the ongoing negotiations. In the past days Palermo discussed the price of the players half with Cesena. There is still no agreement between the teams and the deal is at a standstill at the moment, both sides waiting for the other one to take a step back.

Palermo is clearly in the lead in the race to sign the young player, something that Foschi manager of bianconeri admits. Perinetti appreciates the player a lot and he knows that Cesena needs money, funds that can be found by selling Garritano. A backstory that has reached FcInternews is that about ten days ago the negotiations were at full speed and they were just waiting for the signatures on the contracts. Then at the time of the renewals of the part-ownership the deal slowed down.

Palermo wants to sell Ilicic to bring in some funds before going for the final assault for Garritano. At the moment with the deal blocked, even though at an advanced state there are a lot of teams working in the shadows to be able to buy half of the player. There are clubs of serie A and B who are just waiting for Palermo to step back so as to be able to insert themselves in the deal.
